Marina Fomenko – artist and independent curator.

Lives and works in Moscow.

Graduate of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics and the School of Contemporary Art «Free Workshops».

She mainly practices in video art and creation of installations.

Nominee for the Kandinsky Prize in 2010 and 2011.

Winner for Best Experimental Film at the Festival of Nations, Austria (2020); Porto Femme International Film Festival (2020), Portugal; Couch Film Festival, Canada (2020). 2nd place at the 22nd Faludi Film Festival (2019), Hungary, and Honorable Mention by the Jury at the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival, Portugal (2019).

Curator of international projects and exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

Since 2011, Marina annually organizes the Now & Then International Video Art Festival in Moscow, is its director and curator.
